The internet has given birth to many new terms and phrases that, for many, can be thought of as alien and hard to get your head around. If you are confused by these new words, take heart, you are not the only one!

If, back in the 80’s, I’d have told you that I was checking my email on my mobile, you’d have probably stared at me blankly. Today, it is something that we take for granted.

Lets look at voicing your point of view. Before this could only be done on the radio or television, but now it can also be done over the Internet. The name of this new method of communicating to the masses is blogging? Do you have something to say?

Over the last 5 or 6 years years, blogging has grown to an immense size and poularity, and doesn’t look like slowing down.

Why would you want to start a blog? And how? Well the how is pretty easy. You can set up ablog for free on many websites including Blogger.com and Wordpress.com. It takes no time at all. What do you want to talk about? There are millions of topic to choose from.

Did you know that you can generate income with your blogs too? Blogger.com, which is affiliated with Google, allow you to put relevant ads on your blog, so that when someone visits and clicks, you earn some the advertising revenue.

Many folks use blogging for this very reason. You can make money by expressing yourself. It’s a great way to turn words into cash.
